I have really enjoyed my first experience with Duncan. I was looking for someone to come into my home and help me in my kitchen. The whole concept of learning how to cook in your own home with your own kitchen is the ultimate and Duncan has it down to a fine art.

Duncan has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, spiced with a sense of humour and a history of information and knowledge which he imparts while we are busy preparing. I am truly amazed at the end of the day with what we have accomplished in such a short period of time. I am now very confident in my own kitchen and really enjoy cooking beautiful food.

You will be pleased to know that I made the grilled Haloumi and asparagus dish for lunch today.

Your recipes are automatic now and I keep certain ingredients on hand always. I love the corn cakes and caramelized bacon, not to mention the French toast. For Christmas I’ll have a roast vegetable frittata on hand in the fridge and will make the roast pumpkin and rocket salad and roast beetroot and feta (they were delicious salads).

I have made the oven dried tomatoes (who would eat tomatoes any other way!). Its one thing to read recipe books but quite another to be shown in person and to see how things are done (like taking the top out of a tomato with a knife in a circular motion).

I have Master Chef Duncan Fuller from Fuller Tummy (fullertummy.com.au) coming into our home and into our kitchen teaching me many hot tips as to how I can eat healthy foods that taste great, hygiene, knife skills, nutrition, how to prepare and cook four dishes on the one day that will last a week, correct way of storing fresh and cooked foods, labelling, understanding the shelf life of items, handy kitchen appliances and how to use them, working with left over’s etc. etc.

Four lessons all up that add up to 16 hours approx and sometimes more, where we work and cook together. All in my own home, using my own equipment. Less pressure that way or at least it is for me. It is very intense and full on. Check out their website.

As from April next year, he and his wife Michelle will be opening two franchises (one in Brisbane and another on the Gold Coast), so they can reach more people. Two people can only see so many students in the one day. They are very successful, extremely knowledgeable and most approachable.

I have had problems with food on many different levels, so what I am being taught in these lessons have been invaluable and I’ve only had one lesson so far. We have another date together tomorrow. My taste buds have never known before what they have been missing out on but now they do :) and this is a good thing.

I am really impressed with the program its amazing what we have learnt from just one lesson.

It was brilliant to wake up this morning and open the fridge to fresh and tasty meals that WE have made in our kitchen from fresh ingredients.

Since meeting Duncan he has taken me on a personal journey of self discovery through what is missing in most of the lives of regular Australians. Good nutritious healthy food!

From the first time I spoke with Duncan I knew that he was going to bring change and growth into my life. At this point I did not know how, or when, I just knew.

I have only spent 16 hours in my home kitchen with Duncan and the changes in my life and that of my 13 yr old daughter are undefinable. Dear Duncan I have just completed the first 5 cooking levels with ‘Fuller Tummy’ and I can’t wait to start Level 6 and the new Barbecue course.

I have found the whole experience intriguing and have learnt so many new techniques, including how to prepare creative dishes and excellent menus. It is a great experience, just learning what to look for when buying produce and how to stock a pantry which has been invaluable. I now have a new confidence in myself and my cooking ability.

I have just been made aware that Fuller Tummy has been nominated for the Weight Watchers Healthy Life Awards Community Business of the Year.

I had in-home cooking lessons from Fuller Tummy a few months back and would highly recommend them for this award. From the first point of contact I found Duncan to be extremely professional, well organized and a pleasure to deal with.

Because I am vegetarian Duncan created a recipe book for me based completely on vegetarian and vegan options and the layout of the book was very professionally done. It was easy to understand and included some great healthy tips.

I am a tutor and teach a 14 year old student who is very passionate about food and was interested to learn how to cook.

Level two of the Fuller Tummy program has been the best investment I have made in a long time.
